About the Position:
Ensures success of the S.T.E.M./International Baccalaureate Program. Assists with the coordination in all aspects of the IB program in accordance with the regulations set forth by the International Baccalaureate Organization.  Serves as the Academy’s state assessment coordinator for state testing and student affairs coordinator. Responsible for coordination of all aspects of the IB program in accordance with the regulations set forth by the International Baccalaureate Organization to ensure appropriate IB resources, ensure coordination of CAS (creativity, action, service) and extended essay, monitor the progress of diploma candidates, provide information, guidance and administrative support to diploma candidates, communicate/distribute pertinent information and documentation to the teaching staff, etc., supervise the administration of IB examinations, maintain records and forward necessary documentation to the IBO. Assist with scheduling, state assessment coordination and student affairs. Qualifications: International Baccalaureate Training required. PA certificate Secondary Principal, K-12 Principal required, PA certification in secondary core subject areas, Master’s Degree required, experience as a master classroom teacher exhibiting excellent performance, knowledge of and experience with the International Baccalaureate Program, experience in the review, development and coordination of curriculum, instruction, and technology integration preferred, knowledge of state standards and assessments, (PSSA, etc.), Knowledge of research-based instructional practices,  Exhibit knowledge of curriculum, expertise in instruction, skill in data-based analysis, understanding of adult learning, and ability to lead and mentor teachers.
