About the Position:
Enrollment of 1022 students in Pre-K through 12 and a budget of 21+ million dollars. Seeking a dynamic, innovative individual to serve as Business and Operations Manager. Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Schools, the position manages the district’s fiscal activities and operations, including but not limited to budgeting, census, payroll, finance management and forecasting, debt service, accounting, purchasing, and employee benefit procurement. This position also serves as Secretary to the Board of School Directors and oversees transportation, food service, and custodial/maintenance operations. A four-year degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. Experience in school finance preferred. Applicant should possess comprehensive knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, subsidies, and grants. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required. Salary and benefits are competitive. All prospective candidates must comply with Act 168-Employment History Review process.  Physical exam, signed Act 24 Arrest Conviction Report, and Child Abuse Recognition Training will be required upon employment. Anticipated start date is July 1, 2018, with a negotiated transition period with the current Business and Operations Manager beginning as early as March 2018.
